Years ago, I was able to build my portfolio by joining the Illustration Friday community and submitting my illustrations. The last time I submitted an artwork for IF was November 2011! I can’t believe it’s been almost 3 years! It’s a really fun way to challenge yourself and interact with fellow illustrators.

Because I love stripes, I sure can’t miss this week’s Illustration Friday. I played around with textures and ended up putting just little touches on both the character and the background.

Finally, I got the chance to make something for Illustration Friday again. I missed the deadline for this week’s topic though. I have this favorite sleep mask with eyes printed on it. So yes, it looks funny when you wear it.
A new year has come again, and with fingers crossed, most people just came up with their list of resolutions to start the year. I am not fond of making resolutions for myself, but I’m hoping to do further acts of kindness for our struggling environment through little things like reducing (more) the use of plastic bags and even paper bags. I don’t really want to experience more rage from the Blue Planet in the next decade or so, hence let’s save the earth in our own simple ways.
