Editorial Illustration: Total Girl Philippines, January 2015
I hope you guys are having a great year so far!
Below is my monthly “Totally Embarrassing” illustration for Total Girl Philippines.
Editorial Illustration: December 2014 issue of Total Girl Philippines
These were my last illustrations from 2014!
This is one of my favorite “Totally Embarrassing” illustrations from Total Girl Philippines.
And here’s an illustration I made for the “Grateful Gal” article.
Editorial Illustration: TG Philippines, November 2014 Issue
I’ve been into textures lately. I think it makes vector illustrations more interesting. I’ve been trying to incorporate hand-drawn textures in my illustrations little by little. In this garden scene, I added a bit of texture to the background. Unfortunately, you won’t see it in the final printed illustration (damn!). You’d be able to see it though in the vector image below.
Below is my monthly “Totally Embarrassing” story illustration:
These editorial illustrations are in the November 2015 issue of Total Girl Philippines.
Editorial Work: Total Girl Philippines, October 2014 Issue + WIP
Last month was just a collection of past “Totally Embarrassing” stories, so in this month’s issue of Total Girl Philippines, my new illustration will get a taste of the magazine’s new layout.
I was able to incorporate some details on the illustration’s background. I just love how the contrast of colors turned out here, with the background color being bright, yet making the characters’ colors pop.
My illustration with the new layout, plus some of my old illustrations:
Then, here’s a Little-Red-Riding-Hood-inspired illustration, which I’m also very happy with.
Below is a WIP (work in progress) of the “Big Bad Bullies” illustration:

AND here’s the final illustration! I edited the colors since the original would look too dark when printed.
Tomorrow’s Halloween! I hope you enjoy this really fun and spooky celebration!
Happy Halloween!
