Illustration Friday #9 “Spent”

Working too much will make you feel spent or physically exhausted. Coffee would instantly be the best buddy of somebody working til the wee hours of the morning just to make sure s/he beats the deadline. I bet some of you reading this couldn’t agree more. On the dark side though, no matter how many cups of coffee you drink, if you’re way too tired, catching some z’s would be the only solution to such a dilemma. I seriously hate this feeling just like anybody else does, especially because sleeping feels so good I just can’t get enough of it. Anyway, here’s my submission for this week’s Illustration Friday.

Illustration Friday #6 “Transportation”

This week’s Illustration Friday is all about Transportation. I would love to try riding a hot air balloon, with the sweet, cold wind blowing, and the hot rays of the sun shining on millions of houses and creatures below; that would be fun.

Illustration Friday #5 “Old-fashioned”

One aspect of life constantly changing is fashion. Not just because of its root word, I guess a whole lot of you would agree that fashion would best represent this week’s Illustration Friday theme “Old-fashioned”.

I accidentally messed up the ink here. I always tend to forget to keep avoiding the wet ink. Here it is anyway.

Play Time

It really pays to keep a sketchbook and fill it up with ideas as often as you could. Just recently, I wanted to make a vector illustration and had no idea what to illustrate. So here comes my sketchbook to the rescue.

Most of the time, I prefer to sketch my ideas first before doing the vector works in Illustrator. Nothing beats pencil(or any sketching medium you prefer) and paper in fully and freely rendering your ideas. Here’s a peek at my work process. I would love to show you my detailed illustration process in a future post.

Illustration Friday #4 “Acrobat”

Acrobat is this week’s Illustration Friday theme. Here’s an acrobat act known as Aerial Silk/s. Artists perform Aerial Silk/s stunts using a hanging fabric.
